One of the MANY joys of a small town?!?!? Graduation from elementary school! I can still remember standing on that SAME stage 23 years ago in a pink and white polk-a-dotted dress. Some things DO change...it's now a DARE Promotion, and the kids wear their DARE Shirts, but the concept is the same! It was so fun to watch Brit graduate...but extremely scary to think of her entering the middle school. She got awards/recognitions in math and writing, and even took 2nd place in a writing contest! So proud of my oldest daughter...she is a TRUE gem and I look forward to seeing ALL the places she will go!
Love you, Brit...now PLEASE slow down the whole "growing up thing" I'm just NOT ready yet!!!
