We were told that when low tide hits -3.0 or lower, we could go "raking" for crabs. This morning low tide was -2.8, so we decided to go ahead and give "raking for crabs" a try. Although we didn't get a HUGE load, we were able to get enough to have for dinner! Here's some pictures...

Another view
James and Kaiden raking...Brit giving pointers and directions!
Oaks shouting for HOORAY when they found some.
Not to be outdone, Hunter had to get his two cents in!
Kaiden hard at work...can you see some of the crabs upside down...there is one in front of Hunter to the right of the picture...
More digging...trying to determine male and female...we can't keep the female crabs, so they must be returned!
A little small, but isn't Brit cute?!?!?
Oaks using shells to dig
Our loot!
Hunter raking on the way home...
...I think he was hoping to get some salmon to go with the crab!
Just another morning on the island!!! School starts TOMORROW!!!

We are loving the updates. Miss all of you like crazy. We will definitely have to talk to you guys on Skype some time. The girls keep asking about it. Love you.
So glad you were successful!! We only did it once and we almost gave up before we found any.
Hi Becky - It is really so beautiful!! Now when your dad talks about going to visit, I think I probably could endure the plane ride to visit you guys and see the beautiful country. Tell the kids hi - they look like they are in their element. So Happy!! Love, me.
