FRIENDS by CHOICE!!!
The time with my own little family has been the GREATEST blessing to come from this move, but I do have to say that I have sure MISSED having Carrie so close. It's amazing that after 6 years of living thousands of miles apart, we can just pick up like it was yesterday. I am so grateful to have this time living close to this family, again!
With that said, I do have to admit that Carrie could KICK MY BUTT at anything!!! So, here we are beach combing...enjoying a perfectly beautiful afternoon when this little river decides to come between us and more beach treasure! Now, it may not look like much, but the water level is just ABOVE the waterproof part of my boot...so, what does Carrie do?!?!?! What any wonderful sister would do...she picks me up and carries (hehehe) me across...
And, remember, I'm about 25 lbs HEAVIER than I was when we moved here...this is one tough gal!

We made it! Phew...what a ride!
