On Saturday, Sept. 17th the Howard Valentine School for the AWESOME (long story!!!) ventured to Craig, AK for the first cross country meet of the season. Three of the students were sick, so only 7 made the trek. My kids were a bit nervous for this first meet, but they were MORE excited than nervous.
Miss Emily had a girl's day on Thursday to teach all of the girls how to braid, so they decided that they MUST have matching braids for this meet!
