The SISD schools were invited to participate in a beach clean-up day in Kasaan. James thought it would be a great opportunity for the kids, so Monday morning we took off to Kasaan with the ENTIRE school (yes, the whole whopping 10 students and 4 teachers/aides). It was a little cold, but I think the kids had fun...plus, it's good for them to provide service and to see the difference they can make.
The crew, minus my kids (they stayed in Kasaan the night before with Stewart/Carrie, so they were already at the beach when we arrived).
Hikin' to the beach to begin our day of clean-up!
