I had a SJCU Board retreat in Grand Junction this weekend. Because James was already occupied (see previous post), I decided to take Kathryn and Brittany. Kathryn was a real sweetheart and took Brittany swimming while I was in meetings. Overall, it was a great weekend - Kathryn and I discovered the joy of "cake mix ice-cream" - it really tastes like party chip cake mix (a personal favorite), Brittany made oodles of bracelets, we all ate amazing food, and I even won a prize drawing (I can no longer say I never win anything). Thank you Kathryn for coming and entertaining my daughter, and thank you Ann and Tonya for such a great retreat. Even going over policies was just fine :)
