Just a few pictures from Christmas morning (I slacked on picture duty)!!!

The kids waiting in the boys' room for the "OK" to go check out their loot!

Kaiden finding the treasures in his stocking. His big gift from mom and dad was a digital recorder (I think it is called a Flip - it records up to 30 minutes and has a USB attached right to it for easy downloads, or uploads or whatever it is called, to the computer - we got a smokin' deal)...now maybe I can save some of the memory on my card!

Brittany loved the little things...of course she was totally stoked when she realized that her gift from mom and dad was everything needed (scissors, glue, paper, stickers, embellishments, stamps, ink pads, etc.) to create endless scrapbooks! I have been collecting materials for years, and finally admitted that I HATE scrapbooking. So, I gave it ALL to Brittany...and man, is she talented!

Hunter was so happy with his jammies, that I wasn't sure he even cared about the gifts Christmas morning. Of course, that was before he opened the Hot Wheels city and oodles of cars! What a find!

No, Oaklee did not get a trampoline for Christmas...I'm just horrible at taking pictures, and I did not get her with her loot. All she wanted was a REAL make-up kit, so we figured, "What the heck?" and got her one. She has been sparkly ever since!
Santa DID bring the WHOLE FAMILY a trampoline for Christmas...but he was unable to put it up because of the snow storm on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. So, the kids (and James) had to wait until we returned from Colorado. James and Jim had the tramp up by Monday evening, and the kids were chompin' at the bit to do some jumping. It's been the funnest gift.

OK - I cannot sleep on Christmas Eve. I remember always laying there watching the clock ALL night long. Well, I decided that if my kids wanted to get up at an unimaginable hour, why not? It wasn't like I was sleeping...I still am so anxious for Christmas morning (maybe even more so now that I have kids) that I still lay there watching the clock. Anyways, James and I struck a deal with the kids. We told them they could get up as early as 4:30 am...but, every time we had to tell them to relax or chill or if they started arguing at any time during the day on Christmas Eve, then the time would move back a 1/2 hour for each thing. Well, it did the trick...we were up at 4:30 am Christmas morning...and, I loved it!!! There is NOTHING like watching the faces and reactions of the kids as they open gift and peak in stockings. I LOVE Christmas!!!

After opening gifts and playing for a bit, James and I were back in bed and fast asleep by 6:00 am - and while the kids took things to their rooms, and played and played, we just slept and slept. What a glorious morning!!!

It looks like you guys had a very fun Christmas! I think the best part is that you and James got to go back to bed and sleep for a while!

Looks like you had a great day!!! I'm with you, I love to see the reaction on my kids face as they come down the stairs and see what's under the tree for them. Although my kids will never be allowed to wake up that early!!! LOL
I love the pictures of Kaiden, he always has that same expression on his face, it makes me laugh.
