Oaks gets BAPTIZED!

She DID IT!  My baby got baptized!!!  It was such a special night.  I have to admit, I cried a wee bit more than I had expected, by HEY, she is my BABY!!!  :)  The branch was amazing...we had so much support.  And, what a HUGE blessing to have Stewart/Carrie and family there, as well.  Aunt Carrie even filled in for Grandma Carol by doing a talk on the Holy Ghost, complete with a flashlight for Oaklee to take home....yes, that made me cry and miss my mommy!  :)  What a special day!

 Oaks and her daddy
 LOVE LOVE LOVE these two!!!
 The HUGHES FAMILY!
 Oaks being Oaks!
Last January our stake primary presidency did a "Baptism Preview" for all of the primary children who would be turning 8 during 2011.  At the Baptism Preview, the stake primary president, Sister DeeAnn Hunt, gave each of the children a white towel with "CTR" engraved on it.  Apparently, Oaklee kept this towel is a super safe place (I have to admit, I forgot about it) and pulled it out just in time for her baptism.  She was so excited to FINALLY be able to use her towel!
