Kaiden's Eagle Scout Project

Kaiden has been working on his Eagle for a while now.  We have been so busy with so many OTHER projects, that we kept putting it off and putting it off.  With a moving deadline of Aug. 8th, we decided that we would put a real emphasis on helping Kaiden finish his project before we left.  I know Jon and James have more pictures of the process, but I wanted to post at least the ones I was able to get today while we INSTALLED the map that Kaiden designed, cut out, and painted for the Blue Mountain Guest Ranch.  He worked really hard and went WAY outside his comfort zone to talk to people and request help and donations.  We had the GREATEST support from Uncle Jon and Grandpa Hughes ALL WEEK!  The Blake family joined Grandpa/Grandma Hughes, Uncle Jon, and even Grandma/Grandpa Hall today while we installed the map! I want to thank my dad and Jeannette for making the long drive down to be a part of this day!  I am so proud of Kaiden and the hard work he has put into this project.

Grandma Hughes sitting in the "Old Woman" section...Oaklee gave us that wonderful label!

Wow! I am totally impressed with that map. Kaiden did an excellent job. What a great idea for an eagle project! I am glad you got to spend time with so much family doing it too. I also love the "little deers", they were adorable.
